HUMMUS 4 WAYS
Take my Creamy Dreamy Hummus recipe and turn it into four different flavours! This will allow you to use them as a dip, sauce, dressing for other meals. Get creative and add your favourite ingredients to create interesting flavour profiles! Here are 4 for you to try!
SPICED SLOW ROASTED CHERRY TOMATO HUMMUS
INGREDIENTS
¼ BATCH OF CREAMY DREAMY HUMMUS RECIPE
½-1 cup Slow roasted cherry tomatoes
½ bulb Slow roasted garlic
½ tsp Ground cumin
¼ tsp Ground tumeric
Flakey salt and pepper to taste
Drizzle of cold pressed olive oil
Water as needed to create desired consistency
METHOD
1. Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
2. Top with toasted cumin & sesame seeds.
ROASTED PUMPKIN AND ROSEMARY HUMMUS
INGREDIENTS
¼ BATCH OF CREAMY DREAMY HUMMUS RECIPE
½-1 cup Roasted pumpkin
½ bulb Slow roasted garlic
¼ tsp dried rosemary
Flakey salt and pepper to taste
Drizzle of cold pressed olive oil
Water as needed to create desired consistency
METHOD
Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Top with Tamari seeds.
PEA, EDAMAME & BASIL HUMMUS
INGREDIENTS
¼ BATCH OF CREAMY DREAMY HUMMUS RECIPE
½ cup shelled edamame beans
¼ cup peas
Small handful of fresh basil leaves
Juice of ½ lemon
Flakey salt and pepper to taste
Drizzle of cold pressed olive oil
Water as needed to create desired consistency
METHOD
Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Top with Hemp hearts, basil pesto and make it pretty with a few basil leaves.
SMOKEY CHARGRILLED CAPSICUM HUMMUS
INGREDIENTS
¼ BATCH OF CREAMY DREAMY HUMMUS RECIPE
1-2 Chargrilled capsicums (I use jarred to save time)
1 clove garlic
¼ tsp Smoked paprika
¼ tsp Ground turmeric
Pinch of cayenne (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon
Flakey salt and pepper to taste
Drizzle of cold pressed olive oil
Water as needed to create desired consistency
METHOD
Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Top with smoked paprika & chilli flakes.
